Our Pre-school started in Bradway over 25 years ago. We offer a two stage learning journey for young children. Our sessions are designed to foster developmentally appropriate learning, which meets the differing needs of children, in our morning and afternoon sessions.
The morning session runs from 8.50am to 11.30am and is designed for children aged 2 to 3 years. We also offer a lunchtime session to morning children, from 11.30am to 12.30pm.
The afternoon session runs from 11.50am to 2.50pm and children transfer to this session the year before they start school, assuming they start in the September. Afternoon children can also attend full days.
We hold a weekly French lesson for the afternoon children and a breakfast club is available, 8.20am to 8.50pm, for children attending mornings and full days.
Your child will be allocated a keyworker when they start. This person will work with you to make sure that the childcare we provide is right for your child’s particular needs and interests. When your child first starts, she will help your child to settle, and you can contact your keyworker at any time to discuss any issues or concerns you may have. You will be invited into Pre-school six weeks after your child has started to talk to your child’s keyworker and see the records kept about your child.
Many children from Bradway Pre-school go onto Bradway Primary School. We have excellent transition arrangements with Bradway Primary school and other schools in the area.
We had an Ofsted inspection in November 2016 and received a Good report. Our report can be found on the Ofsted website. Our registration number is EY481053
